MMA betting fans will have a full UFC on Fox 2 fight card this weekend, and headlining the event will be a Light Heavyweight No. 1 contender match between former champion Rashad Evans and undefeated up-and-comer Phil Davis.
The co-main event features U.K. favorite Michael Bisping as a last-minute replacement for an injured Mark Munoz in a Middleweight No. 1 contender match against Chael Sonnen.
On the line for Evans is a potential title shot against Jon Jones if he can get past the wrestling skills of Phil Davis. Oddsmakers at Bovada currently have a -170 price on the former champ, who should be able to negate the wrestling of Davis enough to out-box his way to a victory.
The line was as low as -140, but most of the recent action has been on Evans and that trend will likely continue into the weekend.
Phil Davis will step into the elite levels of the talent-rich Light Heavyweight division for the first time against arguably the second-best at 205 pounds on the planet. He will have to find a way to beat a faster man who has power and elite wrestling abilities. Oddsmakers at Bovada will pay +150 on the Davis upset, which seems a little thin considering his opponent.

Michael Bisping was originally scheduled to fight Demian Maia at UFC on Fox 2 but was thrust into a No.1 contender match against Chael Sonnen just last week. The step up in competition will be very big for “The Count”, and oddsmakers at Bovada have him handicapped as a big +355 underdog.
Chael Sonnen is already considered the No. 1 contender for the next UFC Middleweight title shot, but he will have to prove it one more time against Bisping. Oddsmakers at Bovada are offering a line of -455 for action on Sonnen, and even at that price he looks like the better choice.
Other UFC on Fox 2 lines currently available at Bovada include:
Chris Weidman -140 vs. Demian Maia +120
Evan Dunham -285 vs. Nik Lentz +205
