MMA Betting: The Ultimate Fighter 14

Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter has been one of the best productions in the history of the show.

The only thing that may have been more entertaining than all the exciting fights and devastating knockouts this season has been the banter between coaches Michael Bisping and Jason Miller.

Odds have been released on the matchup between the coaches, and as expected Bisping is handicapped as the favorite.

Bisping is usually a dominant force in the Octagon unless he’s in there against top-tier competition. Bisping holds a big edge in the striking department, so the only thing that he has to be wary of in this fight is being taken down.

At the Bodog Sportsbook the price on Bisping currently sits at an inexpensive -200, and could climb a bit by fight time.

Miller has not been fighting UFC-level opponents for most of his career. Despite success in other promotions Miller has only one UFC fight - a unanimous decision loss to Georges St-Pierre back in 2005.

He is a well-rounded fighter with ground skills that are far superior to those of Bisping, and if he can manage to get the fight to the ground he will have a real chance to wear down and submit his U.K. opponent. As a +185 underdog at 5Dimes the payout looks a little slim for the risk on the Miller upset.

This matchup looks like another chapter in the spoon-fed career of the UFC U.K. poster-boy Bisping. He’s supposed to win this fight so U.K. MMA fans have a local hero for which to cheer, and for that additional reason he looks like a good option at The Ultimate Fighter finale on December 3.
